How we came to be.

Kelly, at age 19 was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia and is in treatment.

April, Kelly's aunt spends many days and nights with Kelly while she continues to under go treatment for her Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia. During some of April's visits she got to know many of the people undergoing treatment. On one particular visit she found out that one patient was in need of a treatment that her insurance was not going to cover the cost for. With all the other expenses, she now had to come up with an additional $1,200.00 for the injection. This was going to be a hardship for her. That was the spark for the Change 4 Cancer Fund. So there would be help for people and pets in need.

Charlie Brown, April's beloved "best friend" had Lymphoma and went thru treatment for a year, but unfortunately it returned.
